Preliminary note

This book is no book which approves numerology. In particular, the author does not believe that the qualities of human beings can be predicted from the name and the birth date. However, the methods of numerology are based on experience of thousands of years. Therefore, in this book it is examined, whether the methods of numerology are useful for big numbers and computer files.

The History of the Numerology

Since thousands of years many people believe that the numbers have not only a mathematical, but also a mystical meaning. Numerology is an ancient science, its very old roots stem from Egypt, Greece, China and India. It is based on the study of numbers, of their meaning and symbolism.

The Numerology in the Present

The numerology has today still a great importance, what is shown by the very great number of internet publications to this theme. A query with the search engine Altavista provides 51520 web pages.

For numerological calculations letters are converted to numbers after the following table:

A-J-S = 1 B-K-T = 2 C-L-U = 3
D-M-V = 4 E-N-W = 5 F-O-X = 6
G-P-Y = 7 H-Q-Z = 8 I-R = 9

So, the name of the author Klaus Reinhard can be converted into the following number: 2313195958194. From this number the numerology number belonging to the name can be calculated by adding the digits, until one of the numerology numbers 1 to 9, 11 or 22 is reached. The total of the digits of 2313195958194 is 60. The total of the digits of 60 is 6. This is a numerology number. After the doctrine of the numerology the qualities of humans can be predicted from numerology numbers, which are calculated from the name and the birth date.

The Numerology of large Numbers

In this electronic book it is examined, whether the properties of large numbers can be predicted from the basic numerology numbers of these numbers, which are calculated by adding the digits, as described above. In this examination mathematical properties of these numbers, especially the divisibility by particular numbers, and the contents of the computer files described by these numbers are surveyed. (Each large number describes a computer file.)

For this many large numbers are surveyed. For each number statements are made about the content of the computer file described by this number, about the numerology number and about the divisibility. The table for representing binary numbers by base-64-numbers is not in this electronic book, because here the numbers are more important than the data-sets.
